　Tamba-Sasayama City joined UNESCO Creative Cities Network; craft and folk art in

December 2015.This city was internationally recognized as a city with outstanding tradition and Culture;such as food, craft and folk entertainment which have remained unfaded since they were created.

In the same year, the Japanese Agency of Cultural Affairs certificated this city as a JapanHeritage. Tamba-Sasayama is seen a culturally renowned city domestically and internationally. So far, this city has received positive certain reputations attributed to various initiatives. For example, presentation of cases, acceptance of observation by foreign delegations or international exchange among craftspeople from each city.

We will continue to develop the connection of this network and make this city more

attractive.
